Right of foreigners to own property in Cyprus

NECESSARY DOCUMENT TO BE PRESENTED WITH THE APPLICATION

1. House plot drawings
2. Copy of the ownership title
3. Copy of the construction license of a private residence / apartments block or license of land construction development. If separate titles are issued for each apartment or in the title is described the certain private residence, construction license presentation is not necessary. In case that the plots are in the process of division, present the license for the division.
4. Copy of the sales agreement.
5. Drawings of the private residence of apartment. Old premises described in the title are exempt. in case of land division , present the land division project. In case of land construction development, present the drawings of the house and its place in the whole complex.
6. The total area of the purchased premises (article 12 of application COMM 145)
7. Evidence of the financial status of the applicants
8. Copies of applicants and their wives passports (pages with the photographs and the passport control stamps for the arrivals and the departures from Cyprus)
9. Marriage certificates and in case of different surnames confirmation from the consulate of their country that they are husband and wife.
10. Copy of the temporary residence permit and work permit
11. Application COMM 145 fully and clearly filled
12. In that case that the applicant is a company or shareholder of an IBC company, among with the the application must be also given the certificates of incorporation, shares, directors and registered address.
13. In the case that the applicant is a company, additionally present the memorandum of the company and written information about company's activities and personnel (local of foreign Social Security ID numbers)
